Scott grew up in Marble, NC and graduated from Andrews High School. He had a long career as a textile worker and was able to go back to school after the closing of the factory and choose the field of physical therapy. Scott enrolled in the PTA program at Southwestern Community College, finished the program in 2008, and was hired on following his last clinical rotation at Nantahala Physical Therapy. Scott enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys photography with his interest being landscapes as this allows him to document the beautiful mountains and scenery that he Ioves.
Scott says he chose to work in physical therapy, because he enjoys working within the community helping people reach their physical goals to improve their quality of life and enable them to continue doing the things they enjoy. He states that this career allows him to see progress and how the changes affect each specific individual.
