Nantahala Physical Therapy is hiring for a Physical Therapy Assistant job in Franklin, NC, and we’re looking for a compassionate, motivated clinician who wants to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. You’ll work closely with our physical therapists to provide individualized, evidence-based care that helps people regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. Patient Care Without Productivity Pressure
Our approach is centered on individualized care and a welcoming patient experience. As a PTA, you’ll carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist and provide one-on-one therapeutic exercise, manual therapy as appropriate, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training. You’ll monitor patient progress, communicate changes with the supervising therapist, educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record.

Education: associate degree
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current North Carolina PTA license
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, modalities, and functional rehabilitation preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred
